The round 6 Match of the Week in the Machineseeker EHF Champions League 2024/25 saw a thrilling attack-focused battle between Füchse Berlin and Paris Saint-Germain, ending with the French team taking a 40:38 victory. PSG right back Yahia Omar picked up the Player of the Match award following a superb performance for his side, but was not the only standout in the game, as the likes of Luc Steins, Jannick Green (both PSG) and Mathias Gidsel (Füchse) had stellar outings as well.

It was amazing to get away with the victory. That was really, really important to us. But it was a well-fought fight, and amazing atmosphere, against a great team that demanded a lot of us. We are happy with the performance.

It's hard to defend Luc Steins. He's small. Very fast. Together with the pivot, it was really hard to defend him. So we got 40 goals — that's too much to win a game.

I hope we can win the next matches.
Tobias Reichmann
Right wing, Füchse Berlin
