Viola Leuchter: “Now we have found our rhythm”

Viola Leuchter was the youngest debutant in the German women’s national team after Emily Bölk — at 18 years old —, then named the Best Young Player at the 2023 and 2025 World Championships, and finally voted the IHF Young Female Player of the Year in 2025. Now, at the age of 22, the tall right back already plays her third EHF Champions League season.
